Lima beans, originating from South America, offer a subtly buttery taste and a slightly starchy texture, lending depth to dishes such as succotash, or enriching soups and stews, and serving as a hearty addition to side dishes and salads.
Thanks to their creaminess, you can also turn them into a spread similar to hummus.
Use 100g of lima beans per serving. Soak for 12h in cold water. Transfer to a pot with 3 times the volume of water. Bring to a boil, cover, and let it simmer for 45-60 minutes while stirring from time to time.
May contain soy, gluten (wheat), sesame, nuts.
