Maple syrup
As a French-Canadian myself, I just could not not have maple syrup in my catalog! Maple syrup is made from tapping a maple tree for its sap, boiling that sap down into a syrup, and then cooling and bottling it.
We’ve all seen pancakes drizzled with maple syrup, but generally speaking, this is a nice alternative to honey, especially if you’re vegan or have IBS.
Usage
If your maple syrup starts growing mold, you can salvage it by scooping off the mold, bring the maple syrup to a boil, then repeat the process once. Once it's cooled down, transfer it to a sterilized jar (it must be dry and clean).
Ingredients
Maple syrup.
