Red kidney beans
Red kidney beans are commonly used in chili con carne and are used in the cuisine of India. They should not be confused with other red beans, such as adzuki beans.
Use 100g of beans per serving. Soak for 12h in cold water. Transfer to a pot with 3 times the volume of water. Bring to a boil, cover, and let it simmer for 1 hour.
